Fortunately, it packs a ton of cutting-edge features and the PSVR 2 specs are a major upgrade over its predecessor. The PSVR 2 price is $549 after all, setting it well above the first PSVR’s $399 launch price.
More games will undoubtedly arrive in the future, as Sony will be keen to add as much value to its new PS5 peripheral as possible, particularly as PSVR 2 sales are off to a slow start. The VR device hit shelves with a hefty launch lineup when it was released back in February 2023, and included a few PSVR 2-exclusive titles, like Horizon Call of the Mountain, and VR updates for some of the best PS5 games, like Resident Evil Village and Gran Turismo 7.
Over 60 PSVR 2 games are already available for Sony’s next-gen headset.
